Let the promenade set the pace
Fuengirola’s municipal tourism site presents the Paseo Marítimo as a central part of the town’s coastal life. It is a useful starting point for a relaxed day: choose a stretch to explore, allow time to stop and decide where you would like to eat. Rather than filling every hour, keep your plans flexible enough to enjoy the company.
A town with more than one flavour
The official tourism guide describes Fuengirola’s food scene as a combination of local traditions and international cooking. That variety is useful when you are travelling with people who have different tastes. You can explore local food on one occasion and choose a familiar favourite on another, without having to turn every meal into a special event.
Choose a menu that works for the group
At Sandpiper, breakfast, family favourites and main courses share one menu. The children’s selection includes burgers, chicken nuggets, pasta Bolognese, pizza baguette and eggs with sausages. There are also vegetarian dishes. Ask about ingredients and dietary requirements in advance, and check service times for the section of the menu you want.
A simple plan for your visit
Start with a walk, sit down for a meal and leave the rest of the afternoon open. If you are arranging a group visit, call the restaurant with your preferred date, time and number of guests. We are at Paseo Marítimo Rey de España, 81. Our published opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00–23:00; Mondays are closed.
